You are looking at one brand new Tandy Leather Craftaid Plastic 1" Alphabet Template. This item 72283-00 is great for creating intricate and unique images on your leathercraft projects. These templates have raised letters on the back. To transfer the letters onto leather, you first moisten the leather where you want the design, lay the letter on the area, rub the top of template with a modeling spoon.
To Use:
Moisten the vegetable tanned leather where you want to transfer the pattern.
Lay the template over the area and rub the plastic with a modeling spoon.
Afterwards the pattern left on your leather can carved and stamped for a great look.
